Happy Birthday to All!

Because the kids never get to celebrate their birthdays together, Cary had the great idea to have a four-in-one party! Of course the kids loved it! I think it's especially halarious to see Carson sitting at the table with everyone!

Kisses & Laughs for All!

My favorite picture in this set is the one where Emma and Ayden are looking at each other laughing as if they've just made a joke. You can tell they are enjoying each other's company. So endearing...they really are becoming these little people with fun, engaging personalities.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICECREAM!

I see a bunny...do you?

I absolutely adore this sweet picture!

JoJo got a chocolate kiss from Emma!

Gifts! Gifts! GIfts!

Ayden & Carson racked up on their visit to Bowling Green. Kim & Jimmy and Cary & Kevin showered the boys with love, attention and presents!

Waiting for school to start

Ayden is ready to start school (day camp that he calls school).

He says, "Ayden go cool NOW!"

He has already packed and unpacked his and Carson's backpacks several times!

He starts tomorrow and will go Mon, Tues, Wed 9:00 to 1:00. Mom is excited too!

Ayden's new Best Friend (after JoJo, of course!)

Ayden's Happy Hat

This week a friend shared a bag of hand-me-down clothes with us. Among other things, there was a boy's boat hat. Immediately, Ayden snatched it up and wore it literally the rest of the day. Then the next morning as soon as I walked in his room to get him out of bed he said, "Where's my hat, mommy?" He wore it all through breakfast, to Griffins house, to Wal-mart and to my school last night for the Senior Roast. It was not off his head for more than a minute at a time! This morning he asked for it pretty early too...although he did wait until after breakfast today!

Fields of Flowers

My parents took a picture of me when I was about two years old in a similar field of flowers. It was taken on the way out to California, I think. This picture was taken on Saturday at a near by park where we went for a morning hike and family picnic. Neither picture turned out as good as I had hoped--once I found the angle that worked best with the sun, I couldn't get Ayden to look at me. He's so over the camera now! Still, I thought the fact that they reminded me of by-gone pictures of myself merited I keep them.

Our little boy is getting so big!

Out big boy is a big helper!

I love the second picture here because their skin tones are so totally different. Ayden's dark eyes and olive skin tone is so beautiful and Carson's pink cheeks and light hair are so fresh and sweet.
