SEVEN WEEKS OLD

Here's a sampling of pictures that were taken this past weekend of Carson. I'll try to post more pictures of the whole family at Thanksgiving and also of Ayden later on in the week. Hope you like 'em.

He's getting cute, isn't he!

SIX WEEKS OLD

Sorry I didn't get these up before...with Thanksgiving travel and going back to work it's busy.

Carson is getting used to his family and his family is getting used to him! I can't believe he's already six weeks old--he's moved through two sets of clothes already: preemie & newborn. He's in the 0-3 months clothes already! He'll be catching up to Ayden in no time!

Feeding the Ducks

I can remember going to feed the ducks as a child with my mom and/or Yaya. Nick & I would go to the pond on Cross Keys...I wonder if the ducks are still there, or if that area has now been developed.

Taking Ayden to feed the ducks took me back; even more so since Ayden looks like Nick with his blond, blond hair. He had a ball--and as you can see he wasn't afraid at all! It was a beautiful fall afternoon (probably 75 degrees) and the leaves were amazing! We had a great time together! In fact, he asked to go again this morning!

FIVE WEEKS OLD

I haven't posted much lately, because if Carson is awake he's usually crying! Ugh! But in the last week, he seems to have settled into life. I've had many more enjoyable afternoons as well as photo opts! Enjoy these pictures...

Still More Pictures of Carson

Papa's glasses

Jimmy and I don't let Ayden grab our glasses and play with them, but Papa lets him get away with more than we do! (As grandparents should!) Ayden thought he was so funny! I love these pictures, but I'm bummed because the best ones have that black shadow across the bottom. I'm not sure what caused it, but they are still cute.

More Fall Clothes

Nick bought Ayden this vest. (He and Billy will keep our kids cool and hip!) The weather is perfect for it...he's worn it several days to "play dates", running errands and to the park. He thinks he's so big when he wears it! Also, since we haven't worn coats all summer, he thinks it's neat to put on a jacket to go outside, so he actually asks to wear one!

Time for Bed!

As Ayden gets older, his face is thinning out. I think that's the main difference in how he and Carson look. Carson's face is very square while Ayden's face is narrow. I also wanted to include these sort of "nothing" pictures to show off Ayden's teeth! They are all coming in now!
